Moonlight Rides:

adulttrikepic1.jpg

Are you a Loveland senior citizen who enjoys riding an adult tricycle?

Do you want to ride your tricycle locally with other seniors on their tricycles?

In the Fall season, there are Seniors On Tricycles Rides available.

We ride locally, we can meet up at the Estrella Park off of West 22nd Street

(Located at 2025 North Estrella Ave, Loveland, CO. 80538) and we will ride locally around that neighborhood.
This is an easy ride with not many hills, and it is a good ride to get into riding shape.
This is a slow pace ride, and it is a great casual ride for everyone.

Most of the rides are basically around the general neighborhood, near the Estrella Park area

All rides are set at a slow pace. It is a super casual laid back kinda ride.

* Some ride start at the Estrella Park and riders will ride up to the Mehaffey Park  (South Entrance 3285 W 22nd Street, Loveland, CO 80538) and we ride through the park and back.

* Dairy Delite Ride (3080 W Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537) through some back streets, so we only cross over West Eisenhower.

*Lake Loveland  Loop Ride.

This is the longest ride, there are some rolling hills. For this ride, you will need to be in good riding shape.

This ride is roughly about 5 miles. This ride is on roads in bicycle lanes, on the bicycle path, and on "bicycle route" streets, so you must be comfortable with riding in bicycle lanes on roads with traffic.

All rides have a bicycle mechanic riding in the group.
All rides are a slow paced ride, there is no racing... it is just seniors on their tricycles getting out and about... enjoying some saddle time. Email me at bicyclewrenching@protonmail.me and request to be signed up for the Seniors On Tricycles Rides.

All rides are subject to weather allowing.

You can email me at,  BicycleWrenching@proton.me and request to be on the Seniors On Tricycles rides email group... and I will notify you when we ride.

What you need to bring with you on this ride; your tricycle, have a front and rear light attached to your tricycle, carry a spare tube, have your emergency contact information with you (let the rider leader know where your emergency contact person's information is.)

Make sure you have a helmet, a water bottle with water, some ride snacks, bring your dapper looking sun glasses, and bring a jacket if you get cold easily.

Be mindful of other riders, pedestrians, and vehicles.
*** All riders ride at their own risks.***

You are liable for yourself, and you must ride within your own riding abilities.

Seniors On Tricycle Rides:

Local Rides:

If you would like to come and ride with me and some of the riders that I ride with, we have a few local loops that we ride.

We are casual riders, we do not ride fast... we just ride for the enjoyment of riding.

I do not offer different paced rides... I just ride at a casual pace, that is it. We ride casually to each other's pace and we set the pace to the slower rider's pace.

Many times I will ride my single speed bicycle, or I will ride a geared bicycle. It really depends on my mood and the local ride we will do.

If are ok with riding at a casual pace, and not riding fast... you are welcome to come and ride.

You will want to make sure that you have a front and rear light on your bicycle.

We do ride a lot of the time in the evenings during the week, and we do ride on weekend days. But having working lights is a must have.

We do not have a set ride schedule, we typically ride when we can fit it into our daily lives.

If you ride with us, you ride at your own risk. (I'm not your momma... you know your own riding ability, what you ride and how you ride is totally on you.)

If you ride with us, you must be respectful towards all of other riders, you must be respectful to walkers and other people that we encounter along our ride.

You must carry your own spare tube, a patch kit, your own mini pump, and your own tire levers. If you need help changing a flat I will help you, but you need to

bring your own supplies to be self efficient ant reply on other people's supplies.

The Loveland Lake Loop Ride        5 to 10 miles (depending on our ride loop variation)

Our Loveland Lake Loop Rides is roughly 5 miles, on our "basic loop". It is a ride that has some rolling hills, we ride on streets with bicycle lanes, "bicycle route"

streets,  and we ride on part of the paved bicycle trail. If you ride with us, you ride at your own risk.

As we rode this loop more and more, we have added to this loop a few variations; sometimes will we alter this route and head into downtown Loveland.

We have since added a few different routes that we ride;  one variation  is downtown... some "scenic" areas are places we like to stop at for "breather breaks" (yes... you read that right, sometimes life happens and if ya don't keep riding, than your riding fitness level doesn't stay consistent; so a breather break is always nice before or after a hill climb.)

And during the hotter times of the year, those "breather break spots become... "I need to drink some water" spots.

Sometimes we will stop at a local coffee shop, or ride to a local ice cream shop, or sometimes we will just ride and enjoy saddle time. We will typically decide as we are riding, what variation of the Lake Loop Ride we will take.

Depending on the season, we ride and stop at holiday decorated houses.

It is a favorite short ride we do...  just to get out and ride.

All rides are subject to weather allowing.

All rides have a bicycle mechanic riding in the group.

You can sign up for The Loveland Lake Loop Rides emailing by me...  and I will put you on the email list.

I will email you, and let you know when I plan on scheduling this ride

You can email me at,  BicycleWrenching@proton.me  and request to be signed up for the Loveland Lake Loop rides.

The Loveland Paved Trail Loop Ride     20 miles-ish

This ride is on streets and a good portion of the paved trail that circles around Loveland. If you ride with us, you ride at your own risk.

It has some pretty good rolling hills that will get your heart rate pumping, but it is a pretty cool ride. (I've done this ride too many times to count on my single speed bicycle.)

This ride goes through Mehaffey Park, local neighborhoods, "bicycle route" streets, streets with bicycle lanes, the paved bicycle trail through Boyd Lake Park, it also goes through the Seven Lakes Park area, an underpasses under 287, and an underpasses under Eisenhower Blvd,

It is a scenic ride in some areas, it is a nice ride... to ride with other riders. You will encounter walkers, so just remember to be polite and share the trail.

You will want to make sure you have plenty of water and some riding snacks with you, there are not many places to stop at... to get food and water along the way in buncha sections; so you do have to be self efficient and bring and what you need.

All rides are subject to weather allowing.

All rides have a bicycle mechanic riding in the group.

You can sign up for The Loveland Paved Trail  Loop Rides by emailing me, and I will put you on the email list.

I will email you and let you know when I plan on scheduling this ride.

You can email me at;  BicycleWrenching@proton.me and request to be signed up for the Loveland Pave Trail Loop rides.

And I will let ya know when we ride this ride.

Picnic At the Park Ride                                              5 miles or under

Sometimes we will decide to do a picnic at the park, and we will ride our bicycles to the park.

We will all bring our own food, and just chill out at the park and relax and than ride back to our starting point.

These are family rides with our family and friends.

If you ride with us, you ride at your own risk.

All rides are subject to weather allowing.

All rides have a bicycle mechanic riding in the group.

You can sign up for the Picnic At The Park Rides  by emailing me, and I will put you on the email list.

I will email you and let you know when we do this ride.

You can email me at;  BicycleWrenching@proton.me and request to be signed up for the Picnic At The Park rides.
